Position Summary: The Duty Manager is responsible for overseeing daily hotel operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining smooth coordination between departments. Acting as the manager on duty during assigned shifts, this role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and customer service skills to uphold the hotel’s standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate hotel operations during assigned shifts. Act as the primary contact for guests to handle inquiries, complaints, and special requests.
Ensure smooth check-in, check-out, and reservation processes.
Monitor staff performance and provide support across Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and other departments as needed.
Handle emergency situations and make sound decisions in the absence of senior management.
Maintain security, safety, and cleanliness standards across the property.
Ensure proper cash handling, billing, and financial reporting during the shift.
Conduct inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to maintain quality standards. Support training, motivation, and development of staff.
Prepare shift reports and communicate key issues to management.

Qualifications

Minimum 2–4 years of experience in hotel operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
Fluency in English (additional languages an advantage)
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
