Hotel Therapist

Spa Therapist/Wellness Therapist

Location: Telford

Position Summary: The Hotel Therapist is responsible for providing professional spa, wellness, and therapeutic treatments to hotel guests, ensuring a high standard of service, relaxation, and overall well-being. This role requires expertise in massage techniques, body treatments, and wellness therapies while maintaining hygiene, safety, and customer satisfaction standards.

Key Responsibilities
Guest Services & Therapy Treatments
Provide a range of spa and wellness treatments such as massages, facials, body scrubs, aromatherapy, and other specialized therapies.
Consult with guests to understand their needs, preferences, and health considerations.
Personalize treatments to enhance guest experience and satisfaction.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism with all clients.

Operational & Safety Standards
Ensure treatment rooms and equipment are clean, sanitized, and well-maintained.
Adhere to hygiene, safety, and wellness protocols in accordance with hotel standards and local regulations.
Monitor inventory of spa products, oils, and equipment; request replenishments as needed.

Client Relationship Management
Greet guests warmly and provide a relaxing and welcoming environment.
Handle guest feedback, resolve complaints, and ensure a memorable experience.
Promote spa packages, special treatments, and wellness programs.

Teamwork & Collaboration
Coordinate with the Spa Manager, Front Desk, and F&B teams to ensure smooth operations.
Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
Assist in organizing wellness events or promotional activities.

Administrative Responsibilities
Maintain accurate records of treatments, guest preferences, and appointments.
Assist in scheduling and booking appointments efficiently.
Support the Spa Manager in reporting and performance monitoring.

Skills & Competencies
Expertise in massage techniques, body therapies, and wellness treatments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of hygiene, safety, and spa industry standards

Qualifications
Diploma or certification in Massage Therapy, Spa Therapy, or related wellness programs
2–4 years of professional experience in hotel spas, wellness centers, or salons
Knowledge of different massage techniques and wellness treatments
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays Professional appearance and demeanor
